Tanners, Crusaders Volleyball Headed to Postseason

Peabody is seeded No. 2 and begins play Monday while Fenwick plays Saturday, seeded No. 3 in its division.

The Peabody High volleyball team is slated to begin its tournament journey Monday, headed into the postseason on a 17-1 record and seeded No. 2 in Division I North.

The Tanners will host a quarterfinal game against either Central Catholic (No. 7) or Lynn Classical (No. 9), whichever wins Saturday's first round contest, at PVMHS (7 p.m.). Peabody lost in the quarterfinals last year to Central Catholic on an 11-7 record in the regular season.

The Bishop Fenwick volleyball squad takes on Swampscott (No. 14) at home Saturday (3 p.m.) in a first round game. The Crusaders are 16-4 and seeded No. 3 in Division II North.
