Peabody Teen Charged With Multiple Home Burglaries

Holocaust survivor Sonia Weitz settled in Peabody upon arriving in the United States and co-founded the Holocaust Center Boston North at the Peabody Institute Library. She died June 23, 2010 after spending many years sharing her story from the Holocaust and ensuring the world would never forget such genocide. She was 81. A plaque in her memory will be dedicated at the entrance to the Children's Room at the Main Branch Library on May 20 at 11 a.m.
