Peabody has started its annual street sweeping.
The sweepers started on Monday in the east. They worked on the side streets off Margin Street.
Residents are asked to sweep sand and debris from sidewalks into the gutters. Do not sweep sand into piles and refrain from sweeping debris into catch basins.
