Local Election Officials Assess Viability of Each Voting Precinct

Here's what the Board of Registrars had to say about each polling site and whether it could be relocated from a city school to an alternative site or not.

In response to a request from the School Committee, the Peabody Board of Registrars submitted a detailed analysis of each voting precinct (particularly at city schools) and the viability of choosing an alternative location per the committee's request.

The board outlined a number of issues, such as whether alternative sites proposed were in the same precinct, parking availability, handicap accessibility and general space to accommodate voters.
