Maura Ciardiello, Republican candidate for Governor's Council, had her campaign fundraiser Thursday, Oct. 11 at Archie's Little River Ale House in Haverhill. It was a successful event with over 100 supporters. Many people throughout the fifth district attended the event to show their support. Several elected officials attended including current Governor's Councilor Mary-Ellen Manning, who spoke to the crowd of Ciardiello supporters.
Former Governor's Councilor John Harris was also there to support Maura Ciardiello. Maura would like to thank everyone that came to support her campaign for Governor's Council.
Maura Ciardiello is proud to announce her endorsement from the State Police Association of Massachusetts, which represents all of the Massachusetts men and women in the titles of State Police Trooper, State Police Trooper First Class and State Police Sergeant.
The State Police Association of Massachusetts stated that the Commonwealth will be best served by Maura Ciardiello, based on her experience as a former public employee, involvement with the local community, and her commitment to public safety.
Maura Ciardiello has also received support from former candidate for Governor Charlie Baker and former Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey who recently wrote a letter supporting Maura Ciardiello. They believe Maura Ciardiello is reform-minded, fiscally conservative and has the education, background and determination to represent the fifth district as the next Governor's Councilor.
Maura Ciardiello has been endorsed by NAGE/IBPO (International Brotherhood of Police Officers)/ SEIU Local 5000, which represents over 22,000 public employees. They stated they are proud to stand with Maura Ciardiello and her campaign for Governor's Council.
Maura is proud to have the above support from Republicans, Independents and Democrats. Maura Ciardiello will bring balance and a bipartisan approach to the council.
