On May 7, At 4:59 p.m., police arrested a Peabody man for drunken driving near the Rainbow Adult Day Center at 210 Lowell St. Michael C. Marciano, 39, of 126 Lowell St., in Peabody, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense.

In last weekend's police log, police summonsed a Lynn man on Sunday, May 8, at 2:13 p.m., following a motor vehicle stop on Newbury Street. Police said the driver was operating his motor vehicle eratically and nearly rear-ended the officer's police cruiser.

hree women shoplifting suspects who were arrested by Peabody Police on May 3 were arraigned in and received strict bail conditions as police continued to search for a male suspect who they say jumped out of the vehicle as all four suspects tried to flee the Northshore Mall.

at 4:32 p.m., police summonsed a Peabody man after receiving a call that a larceny took place at 5 Veterans Memorial Drive. The caller said seven pairs of sneakers had been stolen. The Peabody man will be charged with larceny over $250.
