Road Rage Arrest; Girl Bullied on Facebook

The following are excerpts from the Peabody police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, April 28 

  • At 2:47 p.m., police responded to a resident on Broadmoor Lane who said that $500 was taken from her checking account 
  • At 4:45 p.m., police assisted the ACO to notify a dog owner that his dog was in custody at the borash Vet Clinic. He was fined for his dog being unleashed, and was charged boarding fees
  • At 3:32 p.m., a resident reported damage to his tire
  • At 4:33 p.m., police responded to reports of a girl who is being bullied by other girls on Facebook. The victim believes the girls are being mean and will stab her 
  • At 4:38 p.m., a resident from Wahtera Road made reports of threats 
  • At 5:29 p.m., police responded to reports of a grill stolen off of a porch at Crowninshield Street 
  • At 10:53 p.m., a caller reported seeing someone flash lights in the windows on Aborn Street 
Tuesday, April 29 
  • At 8:26 a.m., police responded to a report of road rage on Lowell Street that involved an assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm). Police arrested Joshua D. Messenger, 40, 103 Adams Ave., Saugus, for assault with a dangerous weapon 
  • At 10:19 a.m., police assisted the fire department on a call involving smoke coming from a classroom at the Welch School. Smoke coming from heater. All clear 
  • At 10:56 a.m., police reponded to PK Motorcars, where an altercation between a man and salesman had occurred 
  • At 11:34 a.m., police responded to a hit and run accident on Lynn Street 
  • At 1:12 p.m., police responded to shoplifting at H&M on Andover Street. A woman stole $70 in merchandise
