Police Log: Two Taken to Mass General After Rollover Accident

The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Feb. 16

At 5:14 p.m., police responded to Newbury Street about a problem with a neighbor concerning “snow removal and careless use of a snowblower.” Police arrived and spoke to residents, but no one said they called police.

At 7:06 p.m., police arrested Salyblue Tony Reach, 30, 80 Lowell St., Peabody, and charged him with disorderly conduct. Police made the arrest after responding to Central Street about a person causing a disturbance.

At 9:36 p.m., police and fire responded to a rollover accident on Route 128 North at Centennial Drive. Two people were injured and one person was trapped in the vehicle. Police shut down the ramp. Firefighters extricated the person in the vehicle. Two people were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. State Police will investigate the crash.

At 10:55 pm., police arrested John M. Mannion Jr., 28, 6 North Central Court, Peabody, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and three warrants for two counts of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uttering a false prescription and speeding.

Monday, Feb. 17

At 7:02 a.m., police arrested William Chavez, 22, 140 Timson St., Apt. 2, Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Police made the arrest after a traffic stop on Washington Street.
