Police Log: Stoneham Woman Arrested on Six Warrants Involving Multiple Charges

The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Feb. 25

At 2:33 p.m., a person told police that his car’s back window was broken, possibly by a rock or pellet gun.

At 2:38 p.m., a Toys R Us employee reported a past shoplifting. The store will handle the matter.

At 2:51 p.m., police arrested Carlton A. Dunwell, 24, 286 Newbury St., Apt. 150, Peabody, and charged him with violating an abuse prevention order and assault and battery, and Gloria E. Fonseca, 31, 286 Newbury St., Apt. 150, Peabody, and charged her with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a fork) and assault and battery.

At 3:06 p.m., police arrested Allan Guarez, 31, 38 Whiting St., Apt. 1, Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Washington Street.

At 4:19 p.m., police arrested Danielle McLean, 27, 1916 Dorchester Ave., Apt. 302, Dorchester, and charged her with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and a warrant. Police made the arrest after a report of shoplifting at The Gap.

At 4:43 p.m., police summonsed a 28-year-old Lynn man to court and charged him with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Police summonsed the man after he reportedly tried to steal items from Sears.

At 5:17 p.m., police summonsed a 17-year-old to court and charged the person with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police summonsed the teen following a two-car accident on Main Street. There were no reported injuries.

At 11:16 p.m., an employee at the water treatment plan reported he lost water pressure at the plant, which caused a water main break on Cedar Grove Avenue. The Water Department, the Department of Public Services and police responded to the scene to repair the break, sand/salt the road and conduct a detail while work was ongoing.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 26

At 1:16 a.m., police arrested Jennifer A. Deinstadt, 34, 24 Hanford Road, Stoneham, and charged her on six warrants, including five counts of possessing a Class B substance, one count of possessing a Class C substance, one count of possessing a Class E substance, one count of possessing a Class E substance with the intent to distribute, larceny more than $250, three counts of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, one count of leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage, one count of reckless operation of a motor vehicle, one count of speeding, one count of a state highway traffic violation and one count of using a motor vehicle without authority. Police made the arrest at the Holiday Inn.

At 3:39 a.m., police received a call after a driver struck a sign and snow bank on Lowell Street. The man walked away from the vehicle. Salem Police attempted to contact the driver at his home.

At 6:47 a.m., police notified the DPS about six or seven large potholes on Forest Street.
