Police Log: Repeat Drunk Driver Arrested

Thursday, May 29

At 2:20 p.m., police summonsed a 39-year-old Peabody man to court and charged him with assault and battery. Police summonsed the man after a neighborhood dispute in which a man slapped a woman.

At 4:27 p.m., a Newbury Street resident reported finding 30-year-old fireworks. Police disposed of the fireworks.

At 6:02 p.m., police received a call from Lynn Street about a man slumped over by the side of the road. An officer spoke to the man, who said he was just tying his shoes.

At 7:57 p.m., a Trask Road resident reported a burglary. Police are investigating.

At 11:33 p.m., police received a call from Collins Street after prescription drugs and Air Jordan flip flops were stolen.

Friday, May 30

At 1:22 a.m., police arrested Nikole M. Fagan, 30, 580 Salem St., Wakefield, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (second offense) and a marked lanes violation. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Lowell Street.

At 7:34 a.m., police arrested David B. Prezioso, 34, 3 Summit Dr., Apt. 32, Reading, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and not having a number plate.

At 10:52 a.m., a Central Street resident reported someone smashed a car window overnight.

At 12:42 p.m., a Rutledge Road resident reported a bike was stolen from a garage. The bike is described as a Marin bicycle that is valued at $500.

At 1:06 p.m., police summonsed a 48-year-old Marblehead man to court for making threats. He reportedly called a Peabody woman many times and threatened her.
