How do you decide which names to include and which names to omit? Is this decision made by the police department or the Patch? I would be kind of angry if I was one of the arrested individuals identified on this site, especially once I saw "police arrested a 28-year-old Beverly resident." What gives?

That person was summonsed to court. We list the names of those arrested, but not people who were summonsed. The initial post said "arrested," but it should have said "summonsed." That's why she wasn't named.
