Police Log: Motorcycle Crash Sends One to Boston Hospital Via MedFlight

Wednesday, June 18

At 3:10 p.m., a Hertz employee reported a stolen motor vehicle. Gloucester Police reported that the car was in their city on June 17.

At 3:20 p.m., police cited a 59-year-old Peabody woman for improperly passing another vehicle and unnecessarily using her horn at Washington Street and Allens Lane.

At 4:34 p.m., police responded to an ATV rollover on Essex Lane. Two people were reportedly taken to area hospitals. The Massachusetts State Police Reconstruction Team responded to the scene. Peabody Police took a report.

At 5:44 p.m., police responded to a motorcycle accident on Jubilee Drive. One person was taken to NSMC-Salem Hospital and was later transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital by Boston MedFlight. The Massachusetts State Police Reconstruction Team responded to the scene.

At 5:53 p.m., police summonsed a 50-year-old Peabody resident to court and charged him on two counts of domestic assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime.

At 7:46 p.m., police summonsed a 48-year-old Peabody man to court and charged him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

At 11:09 p.m., police responded to Bartholomew Street and Litchfield Road after a vehicle struck a pole. The driver left the area.

 

Thursday, June 19

At 7:17 a.m., police arrested Teon W. Scott, 33, 50 Warrant St., Apt. 517, Peabody, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and not having an inspection sticker. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Lowell Street.

At 11:48 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Summit and Lynnfield streets. Two people were taken to Salem Hospital. Two vehicles were towed.

At 12:27 p.m., an Elizabeth Lane resident reported a basketball hoop was in the street and causing a traffic hazard. Police spoke to the resident, who moved the hoop onto the grass.
