Police Log: EBT Card, Keys Stolen on Lowell Street

The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, March 9

At 5:15 p.m., a Walsh Avenue resident reported a neighbor was harassing him about his chickens. Police took a report.

At 9:53 p.m., police responded to Lynn Street about a possibly intoxicated driver hitting a snow bank. Police found a snow bank that was struck, but the driver left the scene.

Monday, March 10

At 12:12 a.m., police arrested Eric Duran, 32, 21 Bowditch St., Peabody, and charged him with disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property more than $250. Police made the arrest after a report of a disturbance on Bowditch Street.

At 7:07 a.m., police arrested Laura Ramirez, 36, 6 Endicott St., Apt. 2, Lynn, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on County Street.

At 7:36 a.m., a person reported that her EBT card and keys were taken on Lowell Street.  Police spoke to the woman who said the incident happened as she was walking home from the 7/11. She described two suspects and reported she suffered a cut to her head during the incident. Police watched surveillance video from the 7/11, which matched the woman’s description, and took a report.

At 9:06 a.m., a Warren Street resident reported a spare tire cover was stolen.

At 10:45 a.m., a Peabody resident reported that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her through emails, text messages and phone calls. Police advised her how to get an abuse prevention order.
