$3,500 in Bras Reported Stolen from Peabody Victoria's Secret

Friday, Dec. 20

  • At 3:07 p.m., police responded to a dispute between neighbors on Thorndike Street.
  • At 4:02 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the JC Penney on Andover Street.
  • At 4:11 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Sears on Andover Street. Michael W. Nickerson, 26, of 176 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise by asportation, second offense.
  • At 4:37 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Stop & Shop on Howley Street. 
  • At 5:20 p.m., police responded to a road rage incident on Andover Street.
  • At 5:56 p.m., police responded to a report of threats on Andover Street.
  • At 8:07 p.m., a man on Irving Street called police to report that his wallet was stolen from his office.
  • At 8:33 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Andover Street.
  • At 11:01 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Dearborn Road.
  • At 11:13 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle near the intersection of Hourihan and Washington streets. Sebastio A. Cavalcante, 49, of 88 Aborn St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 11:20 p.m., police responded to a past break-in at a home on Bartholomew Street.

Saturday, Dec. 21

  • At 1:46 a.m., a Blueberry Way resident called police to report that his friend had just swallowed a fish and was coughing up blood. Two people were taken to the police station to be picked up by their parents and a third was taken by ambulance to Union Hospital.
  • At 7:03 a.m., police responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Pulaski Street.
  • At 9:06 a.m., a Mill Street resident called police to report that his neighbor dumped feces on his property. Ellen Pelletier, 53, of 4 Mill St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of vandalizing property and intimidating a witness.
  • At 11:04 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Andover Street.
  • At 11:43 a.m., police reportedly located a stolen motor vehicle on Basford Court. Patrick J. Corning, 30, of 5 Basford Court, Peabody, was arrested on a charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle. Alicia L. Pacini, 22, of 111 Main St., Peabody, was arrested on a charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle. Steven N. Cunha, 26, of 36 Proctor St., Peabody, was arrested on a charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
  • At 12:37 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Cross Street.
  • At 3:15 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Andover Street. Sophia B. Tizol, 24, of 19 Courtney Drive, Beverly, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise valued above $100 by concealment. Danielle Celestin, 24, of 56 Lawton Ave., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise valued above $100 by concealment and for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 6:13 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Cross Street.
  • At 6:35 p.m., police responded to a medical overdose on Main Street.
  • At 7:39 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Buttonwood Lane. Nicole Denning, 33, of 1803 Hollow Tree Court, Peabody, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 7:47 p.m., an employee at the Victoria's Secret on Andover Street called police to report that $3,795 worth of bras had been stolen. 
  • At 9:06 p.m., a resident entered the fire station on Prospect Street looking for help with stuck handcuffs. An officer responded an assisted.
  • At 10:53 p.m., a Judith Road resident called police to report that her vehicle had been egged.

Sunday, Dec. 22

  • At 12:26 a.m., police responded to a report of a man walking with a rifle on Bowen Road.
