The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department.

Monday, April 29

At 2:21 p.m., a caller on Crowninshield Street reported that she was concerned about a swan missing from the pond in that area. Police told her they didn't know where the swan was.

At 3:39 p.m., Ulta Cosmetics reported a shoplifting incident the day before. Police will summons the suspects for shoplifting.

At 4:25 p.m., a fight was reported at Dental Health Center. The group dispersed.

At 5:07 p.m., a caller reported that while driving he saw a homeless man pull a knife on another driver. Police searched the area but found nothing.

At 9:37 p.m., someone walked into the station and reported being assaulted at work at Outback Steakhouse. Police spoke with employees there and reported that everyone was sticking up for the suspect.

Tuesday, April 30

At 7:20 a.m., police arrested a juvenile at Veterans Memorial High School for disturbing a school assembly and assault and battery.

At 9:03 a.m., a resident reported a motor boat in a pond near Lynn Street. Police spoke with the boat owner, who agreed to go to City Hall and get a permit.
