Man Pulls Out Gun in Road Rage Incident

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police Department activity logs:
Monday, July 22

  • 2:06 p.m. a caller was hanging a sign for a found cat when she was confronted by an angry man on Swampscott Avenue. The man followed her to her house and started banging on the caller's door. Police arrested Jeoffrey Hubisz, 54, of 7 Hancock St. Hubisz arrested on an outstanding warrant. 
  • 3:53 p.m. a possible internet scam was reported on Plymouth Road. 
  • 4:18 p.m. a caller on Shore Drive reported that her wallet was stolen. 
  • 7:35 p.m. a caller reported that her motor vehicle was stolen by her son on Abington Avenue. The registered owner was able to recover the car in Danvers. 
  • 9:14 p.m. a caller reported that a passenger window to a motor vehicle was smashed at the Barnes and Noble and a laptop was stolen. 
  • 10:31 p.m. a caller reported that his house was egged on Normandy Drive. 
  • 11:16 p.m. a caller reported a road rage incident on Main Street near Gallo Nero. The caller said that the operator of the other motor vehicle pointed a black hand gun at him during the incident.
