LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Driscoll Says Thanks for Another Great 4th Celebration

A sizable group of local businesses and residents come together everywhere to help put on the festivities at Emerson Park to celebrate the Fourth.

The Ward 4 July 4th Committee would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out on Wednesday, July 4 with all the festivities at . A special thanks to the “grand chefs” who prepared a delicious old-fashioned cookout of hamburgers, hotdogs, watermelon and ice cream sundaes donated by Tom Gould owner of in Peabody.

We would like to thank the following businesses and residents for their kind donations for the festivities: , , , Warren Waugh and Peabody Motor Sports, , Jacky and , Nelson Gagnon and NLG Enterprises, , , , , Justin Janis dba AC Auto Sales, Bob Leo and , , , , Joe’s American Bar and Grill, Peter Routses and the , Nick and Helen DeCoulas, , in Peabody, in Peabody, and the LeBlancs, owners of in Peabody.

In spite of the slight “wet” start, it was a fun morning and a great celebration! Thank you to all the volunteers for their teamwork and spirit of giving to the children!
