Blood Drive

Second Congregational Church (12 Maple Street, Peabody - next to South School) is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Tuesday November 27th from 2-7 pm.  Blood is always needed and especially with Hurricane Sandy, it is all the more precious, as over 240 drives were recently canceled.  If you want to learn more or sign up, you can do so at www.redcrossblood.org or by calling 1.800.RED.CROSS.  You can also just show up, but you might have to wait if there is a line.  Photo ID is needed to give.  There will be snacks and sodas.  Contrary to popular belief, there is no upper age limit in donating, as long as you are 17, at least 110 pounds and in good health, then you are eligible (minus the normal list of health concerns that might defer eligibility).
