Holiday Festival December 7th
Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr.,
and the Peabody Downtown Association are pleased to announce that the Downtown
Holiday Festival will take place on Saturday, December 7th.
This year’s Festival kicks off at
11:00am at the Peabody Institute Library on Main Street with a Christmas carol
sing-a-long led by the Peabody High School Chorale. After the singing, Santa and Mrs. Claus will
arrive at the Library via fire truck and visit with children, for a picture
opportunity ($3), in the lower level of the Knights of Columbus Hall on 96 Main
Street. Refreshments will be served and
goodie bags will be provided to each child.
“The Downtown Holiday Festival is a great way to get into the spirit of the season,” said Mayor Bettencourt. “I look forward to seeing lots of smiling
faces when Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way down Main Street.”
