has all kinds of meats for you to choose from. Meat cutter George Carboni said that if you're grilling Monday, you should remember to marinade or to season your steaks and chicken.

According to Carboni, a half-hour should do. Carboni said that you can't go wrong with New England Meat Market's greek seasoning. From now until Tuesday, hamburgers are $2.29 a pound and locally grown hot dogs are $.99 a pound.

Beverly Butcher Shop meat cutter Jake Resse said he believes that in order for a barbecue to be successful there should be steak tips and sausages.

"They're great for cookouts," he said.

When he grills, Resse enjoys his sausages well done. The best way to do this is to grill them using low heat for about a half an hour.

For steak tips, Resse grills them for five to six minutes on high. If you're in the search for marinades Resse said to look no further. Resse said that the butcher shop's best marinade is the house which includes garlic, mustard seed, salt and pepper, paprika and oil. Regardless, the butcher shop has 20 marinades people can choose from, a lot of variety and something for everyone, he said.

Carlos Elite, main manager at McKinnon’s Market & Super Butcher Shop sees grilling this way: “There's a lot of things you can do on the grill, you just have to pick what you want.”

Elite said that the best marinade for steaks is the original flavor from McKinnon's. "It tastes like tomato basil," he said. "It's sweet."
