Peabody Company Sells Shirts to 'Believe in Boston'

All sales of the special edition tee shirts will benefit The One Fund Boston and victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Peabody resident Chris Wrenn operates a web-based company that sells T-shirts with written sentiments or slogans. And in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombing as many other businesses churn out clothing and gear bearing "Boston Strong" and other slogans, Wrenn's company has joined the effort with "Believe in Boston."

The company is Sully's Brand T-shirts. The Salem News caught up with Wrenn recently and he explained that all sales from the special edition shirts will go toward The One Fund Boston, which benefits the bombing victims.

A gray t-shirt has the phrase written in large, blue letters across it with a ribbon replacing an "O" and outlined in gold. Wreen said the shirts already generated more than $50,000.

Wrenn told Salem The News he actually copyrighted the phrase "Believe in Boston" several years ago and felt it was a fitting tribute to create a special edition in light of the tragedy to help support the victims.
