Residents at Brooksby Village Enjoying Foods From Different Countries During Olympics

Peabody, MA -- While the Olympics have been taking place, people who live at Brooksby Village have been enjoying different cuisines from around the world every night.

“To celebrate the Olympics, we are offering a special meal every evening in all of our restaurants highlighting  a different country,” said Charleen Archambault, Director of Dining Services, Brooksby Village.  “We have offered cuisine from Canada, Mexico, France and China. We also featured  Iceland with a monkfish stew, Portugal with a Portuguese stew with calamari and chorizo sausage, Serbia where we featured a dessert called Tulambe, a sweet dough that is traditionally fried and soaked in a simple syrup overnight and drizzled with chocolate and Finland where smoked salmon tartrate over warm spinach salad with a pancetta vinaigrette.”

All of the restaurants right now at Brooksby Village are also surrounded by flags from around the world.
