Brooksby Village Residents Walk a Mile and Donate Cases of Food to Haven From Hunger

One large turkey and many people from Brooksby Village participated in the annual Turkey Trot at Brooksby Village.

Over the last few weeks people have donated canned goods and other food donations and both were presented to Haven From Hunger before the annual Turkey Trot.  Then walkers walked a mile around Brooksby Village with a large turkey leading the way. 

“This is an annual event so it’s nice to see everyone turn out year after year to help Haven From Hunger,” said Stefanie Fuller, Fitness Specialist, Brooksby Village.   “We collected cases full of canned goods this year so we were thrilled to once again load up the Haven From Hunger truck before we walked around Brooksby Village.”
