Police are investigating an unarmed robbery at the Bank of America on Route 114.

Peabody police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly robbed a person at a drive-up ATM at the Bank of America across from the Northshore Mall on Monday.

Peabody Police Detective Michael Crane said the victim told officers that a male approached her car, got inside and demanded money. The incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m.

The robber then fled on foot along Route 114 toward Danvers with $200 in cash, the victim told police. Crane said an officer was still at the scene Monday afternoon continuing the investigation.

The bank is located at 189 Andover St. and the drive-up ATM is situated behind the window.
