To London for the Games

Peabody native Titelbaum and fellow students at the 2012 Olympics.

Peabody native Jason Titelbaum will, no doubt, be experiencing the highlight of his college years over the next two weeks.

A junior majoring in sport management at Western New England University, Titelbaum wanted to know what it took to put on a major sporting event...well, he got his wish. He and 14 other students are now in London, England for a special seminar abroad to take in the 2012 Olympics.

For the third time in recent years, the Center for International Sport Business at WNEU sponsored a trip to a major international sporting event. In 2010, a group went to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
