Tickets Still Available for Tommy Fleming Concerts

Good seats are still available for two performances by international singing sensation Tommy Fleming, “The Voice of Ireland.” Fleming will appear in the Frank L. Wiggin Auditorium at on Friday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.

“The excitement generated by Mr. Fleming’s appearances has reached a fever pitch,” said Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. “We are getting phone calls from all over the world and nota day goes by without someone asking me about the shows. I look forward to enjoying bothperformances and expect a great turnout.”

Fleming’s mesmerizing voice brings a new interpretation to classic and contemporary songs you know and love. Eric Clapton once said of Tommy, “The best version of Danny Boy – bar none!”

In addition to sold out performances in Europe, New Zealand and Japan, Mr. Fleming has appeared at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. He will grace the stage at Peabody City Hall just prior to his 12-city tour of Australia. Many of his CDs have attained platinum, multi-platinum and gold status. He recently recorded a PBS special to be shown this winter and is scheduled to appear at Boston’s Symphony Hall in September 2013.

Ticket prices and information are as follows:

  • Orchestra Tables, $30, Balcony Tables, $25, Balcony Seats, $20.
  • Telephone orders are accepted.
  • A cash bar, with beer, wine, soft drinks and water will be available.
  • Dinner will not be offered at this concert.
