Police Called To Noisy Game of Dominoes

Peabody Police reported on Tuesday night they arrested three female suspects who are part of an organized East Coast retail crime group earlier today following a pursuit from the Northshore Mall and down Lowell Street.
The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log from Wednesday through Thursday afternoon.
- At 3:49 p.m. Wednesday, Daniel B. Dasilva, 45, 2 Sanborn Street, Peabody, was arrested and charged with driving without a license.
- At 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, police received a complaint about kids riding a dirt bike up and down the sidewalk on Tracey Street.
- At 6:17 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a Washington Street residence where it was reported a neighbor was throwing furniture onto the lawn. Police resolved the issue.
- Police arrested Thiones Maforte, 24, 45 Washington Street, at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday and charged him with domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness.
- At 8:46 p.m. Wednesday, police received a call about a man trying to get into a vehicle in the Stop and Shop parking lot on Howley Street. The man told police he thought it was his car and tried to get in by accident.
- At 11:09 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to Veterans Memorial Drive for a noise complaint. When police arrived they found a group of kids playing dominoes. The group was dispersed.
- At 1:05 a.m. Thursday, a Nancy Avenue resident reported to police someone had just tried to steal flowers from her garden.
- At 10:09 a.m. Thursday, Luis Canela, 25, 6 March Street, Salem, was arrested on two warrants and also charged with Heroin, Morphine, Opium trafficking, Cocaine trafficking and drug possession near a school or park. Stephanie Santana, 20, 14 Collins Street, Peabody was arrested on a warrant. The arrests were made on Warren Street.
- At 12:23 p.m. Thursday, a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested at the mall and charged with shoplifting, giving a false name to police and receiving stolen property under $250.
- At 1:17 p.m. Thursday, a person reported being bitten by a feral kitten on Park Street.
