Are You Ready for a Fortnight of Food in Peabody?

Restaurant Week in Peabody lasts Sept. 8-12 and 15-19 this year with more than 30 local establishments participating with a variety of specials and discounts.

It's Restaurant Week in Peabody, and as a unique way to highlight some of the different local eateries participating in the multicultural feast downtown this year, Peabody Access TV is airing an up close special.

Peabody High grad Brittany Comak (Class of 2012) interviews several of the Tanner City's restaurant owners and managers about their backgrounds, what their establishments have to offer, and of course samples the goods. Viewers also get to see how some dishes are created.

Restaurant Week, which actually goes two weeks (Sept. 8-12 and 15-19), is part of the annual International Festival celebration. There are more than 30 local businesses participating with all sorts of specials and discounts.
