One More Week of Spring Leaf Collection Starts Monday

One more week of spring curbside leaf collection starts Monday. JRM will pick up leaves and yard waste on regular trash days.

If you have more leaves and yard waste to dispose of, you're in luck -- the second week of spring curbside collection starts Monday and there's no extra charge. Residents can leave their yard waste and leaves at the curb in paper bags or barrels on their normal trash pickup day. No yard waste in plastic bags will be accepted. The city says residents should note that JRM may pick up regular trash first and return later in the day for leaves and yard waste. All yard waste should be picked up, however, no later than 3 p.m. If you miss your collection day this week, you can also haul the bags and barrels over to the Department of Public Services between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Take note: yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted and all yard waste should be picked up no later than 3 p.m. The mayor's office says JRM might collect regular trash first and return later in the day for yard waste.
