Sal's Tosses the Perfect Pizza
Popular Italian pizzeria franchise chain opens in Peabody.
Pizza comes in many shapes, sizes and tastes, but most New Englander's seem to agree that there is nothing quite like a North End Italian style pie. Sal's Pizza offers just such a pizza at it's new Lynnfield Street location in South Peabody. Homemade dough is hand-stretched and tossed in full view of patrons each day in Sal's kitchens. Each creation is topped with fresh whole milk cheeses, plum tomato or white sauce and fresh vegetables. Their traditional pizza is simple and fresh, well priced and tasty. CEO Sal Lupoli and his brother Nick opened the first Sal’s over 20 years ago touting the slogan "Straight from Boston's North End" and offering a signature nineteen inch, three pound pizza which quickly became their claim to fame. …
