Baltimore Co. Eyes Liberty Tree Mall as Possible Site for Slots Parlor
One of the three applicants for a slots parlor in the state is looking at Liberty Tree Mall, several town officials have told the Boston Globe.
The Liberty Tree Mall, just over the line in Danvers, is being considered by a Baltimore-based developer as a potential site for a large slots parlor. The plan was one of the last-minute submissions to state officials last week to meet the application deadline for slots parlors, the Boston Globe reports. The plan calls for 1,200 slots in a 50,000-square-foot complex that would be open 24 hours a day, reports the Globe. PPE Casino Resorts is one of three applicants for the state's lone slots parlor license and the last - and least known - of the three applicants.
