PHOTOS: Ribbons of Support for Sandy Hook
This hardworking crew made more than 600 green and white ribbons Monday morning to hand out to students as a way to support the Sandy Hook community.
Sandi Drover from the Healthy Peabody Collaborative tells Peabody Patch that coalition staff and Peabody High students spent some time Monday morning on a special community service project. The group made green and white ribbons as a show of support and solidarity for the Sandy Hook community. Drover said that more than 600 ribbons were then handed out to students during school dismissal. Students, staff and faculty were also encouraged by the Peabody PTC to wear green and white clothing for the day. "I heard back from the Newtown, Conn.
