Marblehead High School's boys' lacrosse team found no trouble finding the back of the net Monday afternoon as they rolled to a convincing 14-8 win over the Peabody Tanners at home. It was a physical game from start to finish and although Peabody High  jumped out to an early 2-1 lead in the first ten minutes, once Marblehead got their offensive wheels spinning they never looked back. Peabody Lady Tanners Shutout by Salem Witches, 11-0

Peabody High softball team dominated from start to finish by Salem High girls.

The Peabody Lady Tanners softball team must have had a sinking feeling even before the first pitch of Wednesday afternoon's game against the Salem High Witches. That's because they knew they would be going up against Salem Witches starting pitcher Sarah Chasse, one of the best softball pitchers in the Northeastern Conference. Their fears were well-founded. Chasse and the Salem High Witches went on to shutout the Lady Tanners at Peabody High School, 11-0, in a dominating performance highlighted by Chasse's 11 strikeouts of Lady Tanner batters. Photographer Christine Cloutier captured a great deal of the action of the game in this image gallery.
