Beverly Hospital to Hold Public Walk-In Flu Clinic

Limited supply flu vaccine clinic open to public on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. til noon.

In response to the recent rise in the number of influenza cases, Beverly Hospital, a member of Lahey Health, is running a limited supply flu vaccine clinic on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. The flu clinic will be held in the main entrance of Beverly Hospital. The clinic is open to members of the public ages 18-64. You do not need to be a Beverly Hospital patient to receive a flu vaccine. City, Local Church Offer Free Flu Clinic

A free seasonal flu clinic will be held Thursday evening at Comunidade de Cristo.

City health officials have announced that a free seasonal flu clinic will be held Thursday at a local church downtown. The Peabody Health Department and Comunidade de Cristo Church, continuing in a partnership forged last year, are inviting anyone 10 and older to stop in from 5-7 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the church, which is located at 67 Tremont St. “Although the amount of flu-like illness in Massachusetts is low right now, it’s important to remember that in most years, flu season doesn’t peak until January or February. This means that this is an excellent time to get a flu vaccine. We urge everyone to get vaccinated to help stay healthy this season,” says Peabody Public Health Nurse Neia Illingworth.
