VIDEO: Champions for Soccer Champs

A fitting tribute to the new Division I state champs, the Peabody girls' soccer team was invited down for a celebratory dinner at Champions Pub Monday.

Three days later, the Lady Tanners' soccer squad was still elated at bringing home a championship Division I trophy to Peabody. They shared that excitement with Peabody Patch at Champions Pub on Monday, where they were invited for a fitting celebratory dinner. The pub owners, Kevin Houlden and Phil Mitchell, are both former coaches at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School and treated the team and current coaches to dinner to congratulate them on Friday's big win over East Longmeadow. The soccer champs are also slated to be in the spotlight Wednesday as school spirit week closes out at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School with Class Color Day.
