A vehicle rolled on its side on the highway Sunday night.
Peabody police responded to a report of a car rollover on Route 128 Sunday night. The accident ocurred on the northbound side just before the Lowell Street exit around 9:18 p.m. Reports say the occupants of the vehicle were able to get out by themselves and both lanes of traffic were blocked temporarily. No or medical transports were reported. Traffic maps showed Route 128 was clear about an hour after the accident.

This SUV was pretty banged up after overturning early Friday afternoon.
This Honda CR-V rolled up on its side on Lynch Street Friday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. According to scanner reports, the driver was not trapped inside and one person was transported to the hospital. Firefighters and police found the vehicle near the corner with Lynnfield Street. No further details were available.
Police and firefighters responded to a report of a car lying on its roof in the middle of Lynnfield Street just before 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.
A 22-year-old Peabody man was issued a summons for speeding and driving to endanger after the SUV he was driving hit a utility pole and rolled over on Lynnfield Street Thursday night. Police said the impact from the white 2004 Ford Explorer snapped the pole in half, bringing down power lines as well, and caused the SUV to overturn. The accident occurred near 175 Lynnfield St. at approximately 11:19 p.m. The vehicle was initially found by police and firefighters responding to the scene, lying on its roof in the middle of the road. The driver, who lives on John Road, was able to get out of the SUV on his own and was taken Salem Hospital for precautionary reasons. A vehicle rolled over in the southbound side of Route 128 early Friday morning and the driver was nowhere to be found at the scene. State police are investigating.
State police are investigating a car rollover that occurred on Route 128 South early Friday morning. Despite an extensive search of the area by troopers, K-9 units, Peabody officers and the use of infrared scanners, the driver, however, was nowhere to be found. A trooper was sent to the address of the registered owner of the car and arrived just in time to find the person getting out of a taxicab. The trooper spoke with the owner and reported smelling an odor of alcohol on the person’s breath. Police say numerous 911 calls came in at 3:35 a.m., reporting that a car had rolled over on the highway near the Andover Street exit.
