The Northshore Education Consortium serves more than 300 students of all grade levels in more than 17 member-schoolMore districts and 25 school districts throughout northeastern Massachusetts. The non-profit group provides programs for students who are developmentally disabled, experienced substance abuse or have emotional behavioral challenges. The consortium also provides students with developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn additional life skills following high school graduation.

This building was at one time a public school building, named for a Civil War captain. After the school's closing, theMore building was converted into one and two-bedroom rental apartments for people 55 years and older. Inside the historic brick building are apartments equipped with all the modern conveniences: cable TV, individually controlled thermostats, dishwasher and disposal. The high ceiling rooms with large windows and its location convenient to many nearby business make these very desirable residences.
