After hearing a story at church tonight about a person in our parish who is being dragged to courtRead More by Peabody because of a "health issue" with his house, I would not recommend anybody buying into this city until we get a new mayor and administration. Could you imagine if you got sick and called an ambulance, and a cop shows up and decides to take a walk around your house, and then gets the building inspector and health inspector involved and, next thing you know, the city has you and your property targeted and is taking you to court? CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS? If not, hasn't anybody noticed the recent push towards use of eminent domain by the progressives who want our property and now use government to get it? It's real. And it's infected our government here in Peabody.

No offense, but there has to be WAY more to this storythan what what was shared. Did the policeRead More enter and find a serious situation that could endager elderly, children, animals? They are obligated by law to report circumstances that are dangerous. They dont just go into your house and start trouble for no reason. Is the homeowner a hoarder? Are there electrical issues? Mold? Trash which could affect firefighters safety?
