Your Guide: Peabody YMCA Hosts 1st Dash & Splash Sunday
Sunday's event is a 5K road race and post-race outdoor pool party.
Break out your running shoes and swimsuit Sunday, the Torigian Family YMCA is hosting its first ever 5K Dash & Splash.
The road race begins at the Y at 8:30 a.m. The splashing part comes later -- after you complete the 5K, hop in the outdoor pool to cool off after the post-race ceremony and awards.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female runners. The race will be electronically timed and there will be refreshments afterward as well.
The registration fee is $25 per person, $50 per family (max of three people) or $15 for anyone under 14. Registration is 7-8 a.m.
You can print out the form attached here as a PDF and mail it to the Y or register online via North Shore Timing by 11 a.m. on Aug. 16.
The Torigian Family YMCA is located at 259 Lynnfield St. in Peabody.
