Undefeated Peabody West Little League Wins on Friday
Peabody West has a shot at another district title.
The undefeated Peabody West Little League team continues to tear through the District 16 championships, beating Wyoma in East Lynn on Friday, according to the Lynn Item.
Peabody West won, 10-2. Pitcher Nick Iannuzzi lasted more than 5 innings and showed great resolve after only allowing one run in the first inning despite the being bases loaded with no outs at the beginning of the inning.
"He's been a great pitcher for us in the first two games and he showed it in this game also," said Peabody West manager Frank Benea.
Peabody West goes on to play Lynnfield on Sunday at a place to be determined.
