It didn't look promising for Peabody by the end of the first half of Thursday's annual Thanksgiving game, as the Tanners were unable to move the football against a tough Saugus defense.

Peabody trailed, 7-6, at halftime, but thundered back in the second half to put two more touchdowns in the Sachems' end of the home field. The Tanners took home the trophy for the second year in a row and lead the all-time series, 39-26.
