Senior Babe Ruth Takes Down HamWen in First of Best of Three

Peabody's senior Babe Ruth team beat HamWen and is now one win away from the championship.

Last night the Peabody players on the senior Babe Ruth team took a little while to get going but, in the end, took down Hamilton-Wenham, 3-2, according to an article in the Salem News.

The game was the first in a best out of three play, meaning that they can secure the championship game if they beat Hamilton-Wenham again Thursday night in Peabody. 

“This season was by far one of the better seasons in a number of years,” Peabody manager Joe Spuglio said. “We’re trying to make up for last year’s loss to Saugus."
