Peabody Tanners Track Team Wins Meet With Salem

Peabody High Co-ed Outdoor track squad scores impressive 100-36 win over the Salem High Witches.

The Peabody Tanners Co-ed track team has always sported some great teams that are expected to do great things in the Northeastern Conference and on Tuesday afternoon they pretty much had their way with the Salem High Witches.

The final score of the track meet: Peabody High 100, Salem High, 36, shows the Tanners literally ran away with this meet almost as soon as it began at Peabody High at 4 p.m. Some of the events the Tanners won included the javelin, discus, 100-meter hurdles, shot put, and the 400-meter hurdles.
