Peabody Girls' Basketball Opens With Salem Rout [PHOTOS]
Taylor Provost scored 10 points to lead the Tanners to a 45-31 win.
Peabody girls' basketball opened its season Tuesday night at home with a rout on conference opponent Salem.
Senior captain Taylor Provost led the scoring for the Lady Tanners at 10 points in the 45-31 win, which also saw a strong game from sophomore Carolyn Scacchi. It wasn't that sure of a win early on in the game, however, with Peabody only up 23-18 at the half.
The Lady Tanners are hoping to improve on a (6-8 NEC), which left them without a berth in the postseason.
