Crusaders Claim Division 5 North Football Title
Bishop Fenwick heads to the semi-final round of the Division 5 state championship, at a 10-0 record this season.
The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders crushed visiting Northeast Regional Friday night, 43-6, to stay alive in the playoffs and capture the Division 5 North football trophy.
The Golden Knights finally scored a touchdown in the final minutes of the game with Fenwick up 43-0. Scoring for Fenwick came from Brandon DeBarardinis, Eric Razney, Charles Maistrellis, Kyle Russell and Robert Carrillo.
The Crusaders, 10-0, will play Division 5 South champion Abington next weekend in a semi-final game for the state title. The date, time and location are to be determined.
