Storm Closes Schools in Peabody for Wednesday
Peabody kids will get another snow day on Wednesday.
Public school in Peabody was finally called off for Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday as a winter storm rolled into the region.
The storm is expected to drop 6-10 inches of snow through Wednesday morning, accompanied by strong wind gusts. Surrounding districts likewise closed school for the day.
This will be the third snow day so far this winter for the Peabody Public Schools -- the return from winter break was delayed by two days due to a blizzard.
