Peabody School Superintendent Joe Mastrocola has called off school for Friday due to the blizzard expected to roll in during the day.
In addition to the Peabody Public Schools, Bishop Fenwick High School and St. John the Baptist School will also be closed Friday.
Districts around the Greater Boston area, for the most part, have all canceled school as well.
