Mayor Ted Bettencourt explained to School Committee members Tuesday night that the estimated costs break down as follows:
- $660,000 for the turf field
- $300,000 for the lights
- $250,000 for the track
- $150,000 for site work, drainage and contingency costs
Bettencourt indicated he is hoping to secure a mix of private and public funding for the project, including donations, community preservation money and an appropriation from the City Council.
