Credit Union Collects School Supplies for Needy Kids
Metro Credit Union is holding its annual school supplies drive for local children in need of those supplies for the upcoming school year.
The annual school supplies drive at is underway.
Through Aug. 31, the Peabody branch at 68 Main St. and 11 other branches of the credit union will be collecting donations of backpacks, pencils, pens, notebooks, crayons and any other new school supplies.
Those supplies will then be distributed to local schools for children in need of their own supplies before the start of the new school year.
