Citywide Emergency Parking Ban in Effect for Peabody
No on-street parking will be allowed until further notice.
The city of Peabody has declared an emergency parking ban today due to the snow storm expected to hit later this afternoon. An alert was issued by the Police Department at 12:17 p.m.
Effective immediately, on-street parking is not allowed until further notice. Violators will be ticketed and towed.
Weather reports at this time are forecasting snow will begin to fall after 5 p.m. Sleet and freezing rain may also be in the mix this evening and overnight.
